Despite increasing costs Trefeglwys Community Council have decided not to increase the Precept requested for the coming financial year 2023/24.

Each year Community Councils issue a Precept which is the amount of money they require from Council Tax payers within the council area. It is usual for this amount to increase by a small amount each year in line with costs.

Due to the effects of rapid inflation and the cost of living crisis Trefeglwys Community Council have decided not to increase this amount and have kept it in line with that requested in 2022/23. The Council feel that this is important at a time when many are experiencing financial hardship.
